Schneider is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Team Leader in Green Bay, WI to oversee Schneider's maintenance call center and lead a team of maintenance associates. The Fleet Maintenance Team Leader will ensure their team is making efficient and cost-effective repair decisions while also adhering to maintenance operating plans.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance associates.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train and coach associates.
- Ensure the team provides superior customer service to drivers when they call in with equipment breakdowns.
- Work with vendors and the payment team to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Establish compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Create solid business relationships with fleet maintenance support associates and internal customers.
Skills and qualifications:
- Two plus years of diesel or automotive repair experience.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
