This role is a hands-on, client-facing position focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for enterprise clients using complex payroll and compliance solutions. You will manage the full post-sale journey, from implementation through adoption and retention, serving as both technical advisor and trusted client advocate. The position requires deep technical expertise in APIs and integrations, combined with relationship management skills to drive product adoption, client satisfaction, and retention. You will collaborate closely with implementation engineers and cross-functional teams, proactively addressing client needs and translating technical capabilities into business value. This role emphasizes operational excellence, leveraging AI and automation to scale impact while maintaining strong, strategic client relationships. Success in this position directly contributes to long-term client value and growth.
- Own and manage a portfolio of enterprise clients, acting as primary technical advisor throughout the post-sale lifecycle
- Lead seamless client implementations from kickoff to go-live, coordinating internal teams and ensuring timely deployment
- Conduct technical assessments, optimize integrations, and guide clients through complex API/SDK configurations
- Drive adoption and measurable value realization, including improvements in client health scores and usage metrics
- Monitor client performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to address client needs and provide actionable feedback
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in CRM and ticketing systems while continuously improving operational processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; relevant certifications a plus
- 5+ years in Client Success, Account Management, or Implementation Management within B2B SaaS environments
- Proven experience managing enterprise portfolios, driving adoption, retention, and client satisfaction
- Technical aptitude for API/SDK integrations, troubleshooting, and conducting assessments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage data and metrics to improve client outcomes
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into business value
- Proactive, client-first mindset with ownership over results and outcomes
- Experience in payroll, HR tech, or compliance technology preferred
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, customer success tools, project management systems, and AI/automation tools
