About This Position

Our southwest Edmonton Ortho practice Towne Square Orthodontics is looking for an additional Full Time Registered Dental Assistant with their Ortho Module to join our team.

We are growing at a fast pace and are in need of a full time assistant.

SCHEDULE:

  • Approximately 33 hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 4:30pm


KEY QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Completion of a registered Dental Assisting Level II Course is REQUIRED
  • 1 year of experience as an RDA is required
  • Completion of your Orthodontic module is beneficial, however we are looking for the right fit for our office and are willing to train, provided you have 1-2 years experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Must be registered with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants
  • Great hand dexterity
  • Excellent computer and technology skills and experience with a dental practice management software, we use Tops Ortho
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Positive, friendly, outgoing people person
  • Ability to provide exceptional patient care
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Team player
  • Organized, flexible, professional, and detail oriented
  • Able to prioritize and work in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Self-Motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and excel
