We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee and advance licensed benefits technology solutions that drive enrollment and administration for group insurance and association clients. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, optimize system adoption, and lead high-performing teams while collaborating across Distribution, Product, Operations, and IT functions. You will have a direct impact on client satisfaction, business growth, and operational efficiency, ensuring technology solutions are effectively implemented and positioned for long-term success. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in solution management, partner relationships, and process improvement in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Accountabilities:- Lead and manage managers of Enrollment Delivery teams, ensuring effective execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Own and oversee relationships with licensed software partners, including strategy, development roadmaps, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements across all licensed solutions.
- Define and implement growth strategies to expand solution adoption within Employer and Association lines of business.
- Collaborate with Distribution teams to communicate strategy, outcomes, and market positioning.
- Support client meetings and presentations as needed, providing stewardship and insights into solution capabilities.
- Evaluate current solutions regularly to ensure they remain the right fit for business objectives and evolving market needs.
- Review RFP/RFI responses with Distribution teams to ensure accuracy, alignment, and competitive positioning.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications in insurance, technology, or project management are a plus.
- 510 years of experience in group insurance, with hands-on knowledge of HR/Benefits technology solutions and systems integration.
- Strong understanding of data exchange protocols such as API, SSO, and EDI within insurance and benefits platforms.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams, including overseeing managers and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with Association/Affinity group insurance and traditional employer group insurance markets is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to escalate and resolve complex issues effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with Distribution, Product, Operations, and IT teams.
