About This Position
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the efficient operation of office procedures within designated departments.
- Provides administrative support to the appropriate supervisor/manager.
- Prepare reports as required, including collecting and documenting information for annual CAFO and DNREC reports.
- Track and document all purchases within the department and ensure budgetary compliance.
- Coordinates and disseminates communication and correspondence.
- Assures accurate files and record keeping. Maintains record retention policies and procedures.
- Responsible for weekly timekeeping, schedule verification, and processing for team members in the corresponding department.
- Coordinate and monitor inventory management.
- Responsible for initiating the necessary documentation for status changes and information updates for team members in the corresponding department.
- Maintain professionalism at all times when working with and responding to team members and/or guests.
- Able to communicate (both written and verbal) with all team members and levels of management.
- Attends and records minutes for all meetings as requested.
- Coordinates and inputs requisitions for purchasing and accounting.
- Perform other related duties as required
- One (1) to Three (3) years of administrative experience.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word Applications.
- Must have strong organizational skills; accounting background preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with team members, management, and guests is mandatory.
- Must be able to handle all types of team member/guest-related situations; relay all team member compliments and complaints to department management.
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and bend for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
