Security Guard at St. Claire Regional Medical Center – Morehead, Kentucky

The Security Guard provides security for patients, employees, and visitors. Protects hospital buildings, assets, and premises and accomplishes routine maintenance tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Patrols hospital buildings and premises.
• Responds to inquiries for advice or assistance from hospital personnel, students, and visitors.
• Maintains established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control.
• Performs minor maintenance activities and other duties as directed.

Additional Duties/Responsibilities for Lead Security Guard:

• Assists in preparing and maintaining daily work schedules, including special event staffing.
• Assists with evaluating and interviewing candidates for security guard positions.
• Assigns day shift security guards their daily duties.

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.

Experience:
Security Guard experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
None
