Security Escort (Contract) at Crane Currency – Nashua, New Hampshire

Join our team at Crane Currency as a Security Escort (Contract) in Nashua, NH. This is a contract position starting April until August through our employment agency partner. Position Details:

• Pay rate: $19.00/hr

• Hours: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3PM (hours may flex as needed)

• You must be able to commit to going through and obtaining a US Government Security Clearance.

How you will make an impact:
As a Contract Security Escort, you play a critical role in protecting Crane Currency’s people, facilities, and sensitive assets. You will ensure strict compliance with security policies by monitoring and escorting uncleared visitors and contractors within controlled areas of the site. This role requires constant awareness, professionalism, and sound judgment to prevent unauthorized access, observation, or disclosure of confidential information. Your diligence directly supports operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

• Escort uncleared visitors, vendors, contractors, and service personnel throughout designated facility areas
• Maintain continuous line-of-sight supervision to prevent unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas
• Ensure compliance with all facility security requirements, including badge usage and restricted area controls
• Verify visitor identity, credentials, purpose of visit, and approved access levels prior to entry
• Document and track visitor movements in accordance with security protocols
• Monitor for and report security violations, suspicious behavior, or deviations from approved activities
• Support access control operations, including badge validation and monitoring entry and exit points
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and audit records related to escort activities and incidents

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• High school diploma or commensurate experience
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to enforce rules with professionalism and diplomacy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for a position of Public Trust
• Ability to stand, walk, and supervise movement for extended periods

Preferred:

• Experience in security, military, law enforcement, or protection of sensitive facilities
