Our hours of operation are: 11:00AM to 9:00PM Sunday through Thursday 11:00AM to 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday AM shifts start at 8:00AM to 4:00PM PM shifts start at 2:00PM to 10:00PM

Line Cooks: Responsible for safely preparing, cooking and properly storing food, supplies and equipment. Must be able to respond to directions and ticket orders quickly and accurately, work quickly under pressure, follow instructions and adapt accordingly. 2+ years of line cook experience preferred though we are willing to invest time into training the right person with little to no experience.

Skills and expectations for all: -Able to stand for long periods of time, make visual inspections, work in a tight, fast paced, warm/hot environment. -Must be a strong reader, excellent communicator, team oriented and comfortable with technology (email & texting) and possess a working cell phone. -Candidates must have or be ready to attain a Washington State Food Worker Card and reliable transportation. -Strong communication skills, be friendly, flexible, willing to learn and jump in where needed.

Line Cook Job Duties:

• Responsible for food production at one or more hot line stations, ensuring that all food items are produced in strict adherence to recipes and plate presentation specifications.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary work station.
• Response for safe handling and proper storage of food products.

Other Job Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

At least six months experience as a broiler, sauté, fry, or oven cook in a high-volume, full-service restaurant is preferred. Experience with seafood cooking highly desirable.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Must be able to read and memorize recipes and cooking techniques and communicate orally in English.

Physical:

Must be able to stand and work at a fast pace for periods of up to 4 hours. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Must have finger and hand dexterity. Must be able to lift and carry pans, pots and other containers weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a hot kitchen.

Wage & Benefits Offered

$17.13 - $22.00 Hourly + Tips

Full time employees maintaining an average of 25 hours a week have an option to enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account while those who maintain 20 hours can choose to enroll in dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet Insurance. Employees are enrolled in the company's 401k plan with an annual discretionary match after one year of employment. Paid Time Off is available for all front of house employees and accrued at 1 hour for every 26 hours worked.
