The Department of Neuroscience in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences is seeking a Lab Technician to support and conduct research activities under the guidance of senior researchers in the Chamberland Lab. Duties include performing confocal and neuronal reconstruction; conducting electrophysiological recordings; performing stereotaxic surgeries and post-operative care; and assisting in the preparation of experiments.
Performs laboratory testing and some analysis on multiple types of specimen samples. Operates and properly sterilizes equipment and maintains inventory and assists with ordering.
Essential Functions
Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.
Physical Effort
Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to ambulate across building complex and campus. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Hiring Range: $16.50 to $20.63 per hour
