Pouring with Heart is currently looking for a new Barback at Seven Grand, Denver. We are excited to find a new family member. Below is a description of the role, give it a read-through, and if you think “Hell yeah!”, we'd love to start a conversation.

The Role…
As a Barback, you are the backbone of the bar, ensuring bartenders can deliver exceptional service by keeping everything stocked, organized, and prepared for service. This role is fast-paced and physically demanding, but it is also the foundation for building knowledge and skills to grow within the company.

Main Duties, but are not limited to…
• Support bartenders by keeping the bar stocked, organized, and spotless throughout every shift.
• Anticipate and fulfill restocking needs for spirits, beer, juice, syrups, garnishes, and glassware
• Maintain ice bins and bar tools to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist with prep tasks such as juicing, cutting garnishes, and batching syrups
• Help with breakdown, cleaning, and resetting the bar after service
• Learn cocktail ingredients, spirits, and service techniques to build a foundation for growth
• Follow all health, safety, and compliance standards, including responsible alcohol service

• Work as a team player, supporting floor staff, bartenders, and bar leadership where needed

Required Skills/Qualifications
• Previous barback or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic, organization, and the ability to move with urgency
• Comfortable with fast-paced, physically demanding environments
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

• Passion for hospitality, curiosity to learn, and commitment to growth
• Must be 21+ and have valid certifications for responsible beverage service (varies by state)

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Fast-paced movements and mobility required to cover bar and floor space efficiently
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions as part of daily bar operations
