Warehouse & Internal Logistics Associate at GMT International – Villa Rica, Georgia

• Maintain and oversee inventory and supplies by receiving, inspecting, storing and delivering items
• Ensure internal material flow by picking raw materials from stock and deliver to machines for production in time and with correct quantity
• Ensure that QOH and locations in system reflect the correct quantities and locations

1. Ship packages within 1 day of receiving paperwork
2. Perform incoming inspection within 1 day of receiving items from vendors
3. Issue out raw metals and semi-finished parts to production within 2 days of receiving parts or paperwork

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification of inventory
• Ensure correct QOH physically and in system
• Data entry in system for any transactions from and to inventory as well as adjustments
• Perform physical stocktaking and enter counts in ERP system
• Complete shipments by inspecting, packing, processing and loading orders
• Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials by inspecting and storing
• Picking and filling orders from stock
• Ensure warehouse area is clean, organized and all safety procedures are being followed at any time
• Closely cooperate with purchasing for incoming materials and forward paperwork in a timely manner to ensure goods receipt booking
• Closely cooperate with sales department for complete paperwork for delivery and pick-up
• Ensure efficient in time internal moving of material and entry in system in Inventory Management
