About This Position
Summary: The Customer Service Representative provides excellent customer service by establishing communications with internal and external customers through telephone, email/mail and online portals with customers and company employees.
Essential Functions: include the following.
1. Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages, and screens and directs telephone calls in a professional manner.
2. Maintains and processes electronic data for customers, and records correct payment.
3. Generates customer quotes and processes orders for the shipping department.
4. Tracks inventory for current and future customer orders utilizing Syteline ERP program.
5. Resolves customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
6. Performs inside sales responsibilities to include providing information regarding products, services, and pricing.
7. Type’s correspondence and data entry on computer in an accurate manner.
8. Helps with end of the month financials.
9. Monitors and directs incoming documents as required.
10. Assists with retail efforts such as ensuring payments are received.
11. Cross training for coverage of other department tasks during vacations and absences.
12. Ships and receives incoming containers and deliveries from vendors.
13. Processes month end KPI’s for management on last business day and the first business day of each month.
14. Assists in shipping (packing, shipping out in the UPS and FedEx systems)
15. End of day balancing shipments.
16. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
This job operates primarily in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This job also operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment that requires moving to other departments as well as supporting warehouse duties and functions.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for a prolonged period of time. Job requires the employee to regularly stand and move to various departments and sometimes climb ladders. The employee is expected to have the ability to move arms, hands, and carry, lift, or move materials and parts up to 50 pounds and to climb and/or balance. The employee will need vision to see close, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will need to be able to hear and talk.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime may be required as necessary.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent and Accurate data entry skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong multitasking capabilities required
• Strong Accounting skills and experience preferred
• Basic Microsoft Suite experience

• High school degree is a minimum requirement; additional education is preferred
