Job Overview

Northshore Exteriors LLC is seeking dependable and skilled Service Technicians to support our growing Field Operations team. This role focuses on completing residential and light commercial repair work, including roofing, siding, and exterior systems. The Service Tech plays a critical role in ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to our high-quality standards while delivering a positive experience for homeowners and clients.

This is a hands-on field role ideal for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, communicates well, and thrives in a structured schedule-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Orders (Approx. 40 hours/week)
    • Perform repair work on roofing, siding, and related exterior systems.

    • Complete all work according to job scope, safety requirements, and company quality standards.

    • Communicate job progress, issues, and completion status to the Repair Manager.

    • Maintain clean, safe, and professional jobsites.

  • Job Preparation (Approx. 5 hours/week)
    • Review upcoming repair jobs and stage required tools, materials, and equipment.

    • Coordinate with the warehouse or suppliers to confirm material availability.

    • Ensure proper jobsite setup for safety and efficiency prior to starting work.

  • Job Review & Documentation (Approx. 1.25 hours/week)
    • Review job packets, scopes of work, and repair details before beginning each job.

    • Verify permits, documentation, and materials are in place.

    • Provide feedback to the Repair Manager regarding discrepancies or missing information.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in roofing, siding, or general construction repairs.

  • Strong craftsmanship skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and follow scopes of work, job packets, and safety guidelines.

  • Strong communication skills when interacting with homeowners, managers, and teammates.

  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or collaboratively.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Valid drivers license preferred.

  • A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws.
