Position: Server
Property: Live Oak, Charleston Historic District, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager

As we prepare to open the doors to Charleston’s newest luxury destination, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Server to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for an outgoing and hospitable individual with a commitment to excellence in both service quality and guest

JOB OVERVIEW
Greet and provide service to all guests with uncompromised hospitality

JOB FUNCTIONS
• Greet and describe concept and menu to all guests
• Suggestively sell both food & beverage
• Ensure there are no allergies or dietary restrictions
• Answer all questions thoroughly
• Promptly enter orders into the POS
• Ensure each guest is satisfied with food & beverage selections
• Perform all opening and closing side work

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Tips Trained and Food Handlers certification are required; training will be provided as needed.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Part Time and Full Time availability. Hourly wage plus tips.
