Description

Join our dynamic IT team at Endeavor Health Services as an IT Tech Support Intern this Summer, where you will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and enhancing your IT skills in a fast-paced environment. This is an unpaid internship and is in-person at our West Seneca, NY location.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Provide first-level support for IT-related queries and incidents.
  • Help in setting up and configuring computer systems and peripherals.
  • Document technical issues and solutions in a ticketing system.
  • Support the IT team in maintaining and updating inventory records.
  • Participate in routine system maintenance and updates.
  • Assist in network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
  • Support the installation and configuration of software applications.
  • Conduct basic training sessions for end-users on IT tools and systems.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide support in the deployment of new technology projects or upgrades.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals
