1099 Window & Door Field Service Technician at WinChoice – Birmingham, Alabama

Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Window & Door Field Service Technician to perform service repairs and maintenance on installed products. This is a travel-based, independent contractor role for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and service installed windows and doors
• Diagnose issues and determine effective, cost-efficient solutions
• Ensure all repairs fully resolve customer concerns before leaving the job site
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding service calls and outcomes
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times
• Identify and correct installation-related issues
• Maintain organization of schedule, job priorities, and materials

Requirements:

• 2+ years of window and/or door installation experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of basic construction methods and materials
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose service issues independently
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Highly organized and dependable

Additional Details:

• 100% travel required
