Summer Grounds and Facilities Maintenance at Central College – PELLA, Iowa

Central College Facilities Management department is looking for help this summer.

• Assistance with yard and ground care - mowing, trimming, seeding, landscaping, planting, and watering
• Operation of equipment - tractors, mowers, spreaders, push mowers, backpack blower
• Assistance with event set-up on campus
• Assistance with deliveries, office and furniture moves, and resident housing bed bunking
• Assist technicians with projects around campus
• Clean shops and mechanical rooms
• Wash and clean fleet vehicles

• Ability to lift 25 independently and up to 75 pounds with a partner
• Knowledge of outdoor lawn maintenance equipment or ability to be trained to operate
• Ability to work hours outside in an Iowa summer
• Responsible and safe work ethic with good decision making skills
• May work independently or with a team
• 18+ and clean driving required to operate Central College vehicles and golf carts
