About This Position

REGISTERED CYTOTECHNOLOGIST - $20,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Studies cells under a microscope to detect evidence of pathological conditions following established standards and practices. Submits slides with abnormal cell structures to pathologist for further examination. Maintains workload requirements following CAP guidelines.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • B.S. degree in health science or must meet the CAP/CLIA standards for a practicing cytotechnologist

    • Minimum Experience
      • 1 year experience in cytotechnology or equivalent

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • CT (ASCP) Certification

    • Preferred Education
      • B.S. in Cytotechnology

    • Preferred Experience
      • 1-3 years’ experience in cytotechnology

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • CT(ASCP) Certification

    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
