Program Manager at Plateau Software Inc – Washington, Virginia

Plateau GRP is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Program Manager (PM) to serve as the overall lead and single accountable manager for Task Order performance. The Program Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management, coordination, quality assurance, and execution oversight of all contractor activities performed under the Task Order.

This role serves as the primary interface between Plateau GRP and authorized Government representatives and stakeholders. The PM will provide leadership to cross-functional teams operating across multiple locations and ensure disciplined execution of approved plans, schedules, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the overall lead and single point of accountability for Task Order performance.
• Act as the primary interface with authorized Government representatives and program stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to cross-functional teams operating in geographically dispersed environments.
• Ensure effective program management across cost, schedule, performance, and risk domains.
• Implement and maintain structured governance, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
• Deliver regular executive-level status briefings and reports.
• Maintain proactive visibility into program risks and issues; ensure timely escalation and resolution.
• Ensure alignment with approved plans, contractual requirements, and performance objectives.
• Provide on-demand support and maintain availability during designated core business hours.

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience managing programs or contract/task orders of comparable size, scope, and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience applying adaptive and non-traditional program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, hybrid Agile/Waterfall).
• Experience leading engagements with senior Government stakeholders and coordinating across multiple contractors, organizations, or mission partners.

Desired Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, management, engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
• Current project or program management certification such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent credential from a recognized organization.
• Experience supporting enterprise architecture and governance activities in federated or matrixed environments.
• Experience defining and overseeing enterprise processes and standards related to cloud platforms, data environments, cybersecurity, or digital modernization initiatives within Federal or Department of Defense environments.
