Intern Manufacturing at Phoenix Closures Inc – Greencastle, Indiana

POSITION SUMMARY:

To assist in the daily operations of the production department, as assigned by supervisor/management. This is a Safety Sensitive Position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manual work such as product inspection, cleaning work spaces, lifting boxes, etc. will be required, as requested;

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for following all Food Safety related policies and procedures;
• Responsible for following all Safety Rules, policies, procedures and work instructions;
• Sorts through and visually inspects rejected cartons.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

• High School diploma;
• Currently enrolled in Post-Secondary education/training.

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior technical writing experience or classroom instruction preferred;
• Prior production experience and mechanical aptitude preferred;
• Current post-secondary training/education directly related to manufacturing preferred, but not required.
