Host/Hostess at Mimosa House LLC – Sacramento, California

The Mimosa House is seeking a friendly, energetic, and organized Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, hosts set the tone for the dining experience by creating a warm welcome and helping maintain a smooth flow in our busy brunch environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave
  
• Manage the waitlist and reservations while maintaining accurate wait times
  
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
  
• Communicate with servers, bussers, and managers to maintain efficient table flow
  
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions or reservations
  
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
  
• Monitor the dining room to help ensure guests are seated promptly and comfortably

• Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
