We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing & Events to lead the company’s marketing vision, brand strategy and demand generation across our portfolio of restaurant concepts. This leadership role is for a well rounded strategist, who brings equal conviction to brand building and revenue generation. This role is responsible for strengthening brand presence, driving guest engagement, and overseeing the private dining and events sales function.
We are looking for a marketing leader who understands how to build brand momentum while supporting revenue growth through marketing initiatives, partnerships, and event programming.
What You’ll DoLead Marketing Vision and Brand Strategy
- Develop and own the company-wide marketing strategy across all concepts, with distinct plans per brand and unified group-level positioning to strengthen brand awareness and drive guest traffic.
- Oversee brand identity, voice, and visual standards across all channels; ensure consistency from social media to printed collateral to in-restaurant experience.
- Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, email marketing, paid social, and Google Business presence.
- Track and report on marketing KIPs including website traffic, social growth, email performance, reservation trends, and guest acquisition cost.
Drive Demand Generation
- Design marketing initiatives and targeted campaigns for all restaurants that generate qualified leads for private dining, events, and group business. Track performance and refine strategies based on results.
- Partner with operations to identify revenue opportunities and programming ideas that can be activated through marketing and events.
- Oversee and optimize presence on third-party platforms (OpenTable, Yelp, Google, etc) to maximize discoverability and conversation. Monitor guest feedback across platforms to identify opportunities to improve guest experience.
Oversee Private Dining & Event Sales
- Lead and manage the Sales & Events team, including hiring, coaching, and setting performance expectations.
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight for private dining and events across all restaurants. Establish goals, systems, and KPIs that support consistent revenue growth.
- Oversee the full private dining and buy-out sales cycle: prospecting, inquiry response, proposal development, contract execution, and post event follow up.
- Ensure private dining revenue targets are met while maintaining event quality standards consistent with each concept’s brand.
- Collaborate with operators to build seamless handoff processes between the events team and restaurant management.
Operator Collaboration and Cross Function Leadership
- Serve as a connector between marketing, events, and restaurant operations, ensuring marketing and event initiatives align with brand standards and operational priorities.
- Attend regular operational meetings; partner with General Managers on activations, staff training for promotional programs, and on-site event execution.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all concepts, demonstrating a service orientation toward the operational team.
- Champion a culture of transparency and feedback between the marketing/sales function and restaurant leadership.
Vendor Management
- Manage agency and vendor relationships including photographers, designers, PR firms, and technology platforms.
- Manage event supplier relationships to support quality and margin goals
- Strong marketing background with experience developing Pro brand strategies and driving demand generation.
- Experience overseeing sales functions or revenue generating programs such as events, partnerships, or group business.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance including campaign ROI, conversion metrics, and lead generation.
- Leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, consumer brands, or agency environments.
- Experience working with multi unit brands is highly preferred. Background in QSR, hospitality groups, consumer packaged goods, or marketing agencies is a plus.
- Comfortable traveling between restaurant locations and working occasional evenings or weekends when needed for events.
- This is a full time exempt leadership role with a base salary range of $105,000 to $115,000, plus a commission structure tied to private dining and event revenue. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
