Position Summary:

Meeker’s is seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen while maintaining Hilton brand standards and local flavor. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
  • Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and receiving deliveries.
  • Support banquet and event food production as needed.
  • Uphold Hilton and Meeker’s brand standards for hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of line cook or kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
