About This Position
Zeeco India’s Wada (ZWW) manufacturing facility is undergoing significant expansion and is being developed into a world-class manufacturing and project execution center supporting global projects. As part of this growth journey, we are looking for a highly experienced Head – QA/QC to lead all quality-related functions at the facility.
The Head – QA/QC will provide leadership and strategic direction for all quality functions including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE), Welding Engineering, Refractory Systems, and Protective Coatings.
This role will ensure that all manufacturing, fabrication, and project execution activities meet international codes, regulatory requirements, and client specifications, while fostering a strong culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The position will play a critical role in supporting the development of the Wada facility into a world-class manufacturing hub.
Strategic Importance & Leadership Impact
This is not a traditional quality leadership role — it is a mission-critical position at the heart of Zeeco India’s global expansion strategy. The Head – QA/QC will play a defining role in shaping the Wada (ZWW) facility into a globally benchmarked manufacturing and project execution hub, directly influencing Zeeco’s ability to deliver to international markets with consistency, reliability, and technical excellence.
The role operates at a global intersection, working closely with the Global QA/QC Group to align local practices with international standards, share best practices, and drive harmonization across geographies. This position reports into a highly dynamic and seasoned Director – QA/QC, offering strong mentorship, strategic visibility, and the opportunity to influence quality practices at a global level.
• Lead and manage all quality-related functions across QA, QC, NDE, Welding, Refractory, and Painting/Coating.
• Establish and implement robust quality management systems and procedures.
• Drive a strong culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Quality Assurance
• Develop and implement QA systems aligned with global standards and client specifications.
• Ensure compliance with international codes such as ASME, API, ISO, ASTM, AWS, SSPC, and NACE.
• Lead internal quality audits and coordinate external audits with clients and third-party agencies.
Quality Control
• Implement inspection and test plans (ITPs) across manufacturing, fabrication, and project execution activities.
• Oversee inspection teams for material inspection, fabrication, assembly, and final acceptance.
• Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of inspection records.
NDE Management
• Manage all NDE activities including UT, RT, MT, PT, and advanced inspection methods.
• Ensure deployment of qualified personnel and calibrated inspection equipment.
• Review and approve NDE reports and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Welding Engineering
• Oversee development and qualification of WPS, PQR, and welder certifications.
• Ensure welding operations comply with ASME, AWS, and relevant international standards.
• Provide technical guidance on welding quality and resolve fabrication challenges.
Refractory & Coatings
• Supervise refractory installation, inspection, and performance verification.
• Ensure proper surface preparation, coating application, and inspection in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality deviations.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Materials Engineering or related discipline.
Experience
• 20–25 years of experience in QA/QC within oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, heavy fabrication, or industrial project environments.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary quality teams in manufacturing or project execution environments.
• Reduction in defects and rework
