Partnership is seeking an organized, flexible leader to join our team as Lead House Manager. This position not only provides direct support with daily living needs to shelter clients but also supervises shelter staff to coordinate 24/7 coverage and facility maintenance. This full-time role is eligible for all company standard benefits. This position works 3rd shift, Wednesday through Sunday.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree a plus but not required.
  • Relevant experience in a social services field and/or supervisory role (3-5 years preferred).
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member with people of various backgrounds.
  • Conflict resolution and/or crisis intervention skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift, Wed. - Sun.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Adheres to trauma informed care practice approach and other applicable evidence-based models in service delivery.
  • Provides direction, team management, and planning during shift as delegated by the Shelter Operations Manager. These duties include, but are not limited to, coordination of client related services during shifts and the overall maintenance of the facility.
  • Assists victims through crisis intervention and the 24/7 hotline.
  • Provides conflict resolution and intervention during shift.
  • Ensures confidentiality of information related to clients, personnel, and other information of a confidential nature.
  • Completes intakes and ensures clients are comfortable in room. Advises clients of their rights and responsibilities. Practices appropriate interventions when client situations occur. Calls On-Call supervisor for back up as needed.
  • Maintains a safe healthy environment. Provides direction and/or complete room cleaning 24 hours post client exit, including washing, replacing, and storing clean linens in the proper area, cleaning common areas as needed.
  • Supervises staff on shift by providing support/direction and provides documentation to their supervisors on work completed.
  • Provides training to staff during shift, which includes onboarding and ongoing required training for professional development.
  • Performs other duties related to this position as determined necessary.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Every weekend
  • Overnight shift

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Social Work or Human Service: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Supervising: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Chattanooga, TN (Required)
