About This Position
This is a full-time, on-site role in Miami, FL, for an Architectural Project Manager. The Architectural Project Manager will oversee project coordination, manage construction drawings and documentation, and handle submittals throughout project lifecycles. Responsibilities also include collaborating with design and construction teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and LEED certifications. Effective communication and leadership will be key to successfully managing diverse stakeholders and ensuring the delivery of high-quality architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage architectural scope across all design phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration.
• Coordinate architectural consultants, engineers, and specialty designers.
• Ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, life safety, accessibility, and municipal requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and design-related change orders
• Collaborate closely with construction teams.
• Participate in design meetings, owner presentations, and site visits.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and reporting
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of Architectural Project Management experience
- Strong expertise in Project Coordination and managing complex timelines
- Proficiency in creating and reviewing Construction Drawings and overseeing Submittals processes
- Knowledge of Architecture and design principles, including sustainable and innovative design practices
- Familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards and green building practices
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in historic preservation and environment-focused development is a plus
- Proficiency with architectural and construction tools, including:
– ArchiCAD and/or Revit
– Bluebeam Revu
– Procore/Contractor Foreman (design coordination level)
– Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
