Heavy Diesel Road Service Technician at Leonard's Express, Inc., – Farmington, New York

Farmington, NY • Full-Time • $25–$30/hr

Johnson Equipment Sales & Service is hiring an experienced Heavy Diesel Road Service Technician to join our team in Farmington, NY. This is a first-shift, Monday–Friday (7 AM–4 PM) role with overtime available and an after-hours bonus for any service call outside scheduled hours or on weekends.

• Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment
• Perform brake, tire, heater, and defroster repairs
• Road-test equipment to confirm repairs
• Deliver high-quality, efficient repairs that meet time standards
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and the Repair Coordinator
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
• Perform additional duties as needed

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience working on 48’/53’ equipment
• Component training or trailer tech certifications preferred
• Your own basic tool set
• Valid Class A license with at least 6 months of experience
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
