JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing inventory and supporting warehouse operations in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role ensures accurate material handling, inventory control, and a safe, organized work environment to support the delivery of high-quality, affordable medications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with site leadership to manage inventory processes, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and accurate documentation of material transactions.
- Receive, inspect, verify, and store incoming materials while resolving discrepancies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain compliance with cGMP by properly handling and aseptically dispensing materials and ensuring cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
- Utilize inventory management systems to monitor stock levels, track transfers, and support operational planning.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment by following safety protocols and best practices.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance as required.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support overall warehouse and operational efficiency.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle preferred)
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving ability and resourcefulness
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience (shipping/receiving and inventory control required)
- Valid forklift license or ability to obtain one
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Fast-paced work environment setting.
- Involves lifting and moving light to medium-weight boxes and racks.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of hours.
