This role is a high-impact, hands-on position responsible for building and managing the financial, operational, and administrative foundation of a newly established subsidiary in Brazil. You will operate at the intersection of finance, compliance, logistics, and business operations, ensuring smooth execution across multiple critical workstreams. The position involves close collaboration with international leadership teams and external partners such as legal advisors, accountants, and customs specialists. You will play a central role in enabling complex aircraft import operations, regulatory compliance, and local business scaling activities. The environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly autonomous, requiring strong ownership and adaptability. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the operational backbone of an innovative aerospace and climate tech expansion in Latin America.

• Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and monthly closing processes in coordination with external accounting partners
• Manage treasury activities, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and financial controls for the Brazilian entity
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting, tax, and corporate regulations, including coordination with auditors and external advisors
• Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements in line with Brazilian and OECD standards
• Lead import and customs operations for aircraft, parts, and equipment, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Navigate Brazilian trade and customs frameworks, including classification, import incentives, and regulatory procedures
• Act as internal project manager for legal and regulatory workstreams, coordinating with external law firms
• Manage contracts, corporate documentation, and compliance with labor and operational regulations
• Support operational scaling through vendor management, office/warehouse coordination, and local process implementation
• Collaborate with global teams across operations, engineering, and supply chain to support deployment activities

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, or business management roles with operational exposure
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax, accounting, and corporate regulatory frameworks
• Experience managing cross-functional legal or regulatory projects with external stakeholders
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken), with ability to communicate daily with international teams
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and financial modeling
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Strong problem-solving mindset with high ownership and execution focus
• Experience in import/export operations in Brazil is highly desirable
• Familiarity with transfer pricing and intercompany documentation is a plus
• Background in aerospace, agribusiness, or high-growth startups is a plus
