Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in leading refinement sessions, story splitting, estimation techniques, velocity tracking, retrospection methods.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while leading multiple teams.
• Soft skills for dealing with resistance to change and diverse personality types across teams.
• Knowledge of agile techniques like User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration/Testing.
• Strong business aptitude with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor others effectively.
• Proven ability to navigate complex situations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, business management, or any related field or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within a development team applying Scrum principles.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) preferred; additional certifications (CSP, PSM II) are a plus.
• Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt preferred, Black Belt a plus.
• Experience with various agile methodologies such as Kanban, XP, and FDD.
• Experience with KanBo, Azure DevOps, and Bugzilla or similar application preferred.
