Job Summary
The Foreman is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day field operations on job sites. This role ensures crews work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company standards. The Foreman coordinates labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials while maintaining project timelines and high‑quality workmanship.
Primary Job Duties
Site Leadership & Supervision
• Lead, supervise, and direct crews on all assigned job sites.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and reinforce all company safety policies.
Operations
• Oversee project activities including structural teardown, interior/exterior removal, debris handling, and site clearing.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (e.g., dust control, utilities shut offs, hazardous material handling when applicable).
• Coordinate proper disposal, recycling, and documentation of debris.
Duties
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and equipment needs.
• Ensure proper installation techniques and adherence to construction standards.
Safety & Compliance
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety procedures; immediately address hazards or unsafe practices.
• Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
Project Coordination & Reporting
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, inspectors, and crew members.
• Track daily progress, issues, delays, and manpower using company reporting tools (e.g., Procore, daily job logs).
• Review and interpret blueprints, written specifications, and project documents.
Equipment & Material Management
• Operate and oversee use of heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, saws, and breakers (as qualified).
• Monitor material inventory and coordinate timely deliveries.
• Assist with equipment inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• Proven experience as a Foreman or Lead Worker in construction, or general contracting.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and building safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred or required depending on project).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred
• Experience using project management software such as Procore.
• Certifications for heavy equipment operation.
• Prior experience working on commercial or multi site projects.
