This position provides support to the Research Data Operations Team within the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences. The Research Data Operations Team maintains quality historical, current, and future sponsored project award funding and proposal data for use in internal and external reporting, dashboards, and national rankings/surveys.
Evaluates business requirements and performs advanced data integration and analysis. Develops advanced analytical and reporting tools utilizing multiple sources of integrated data. Provides technical support.
Essential Functions
The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing Tableau dashboards and reports, integrating data from multiple sources, validating reporting logic, and applying strong analytical practices. They should demonstrate the ability to solve complex data problems, streamline processes, and leverage new technologies or automation to improve workflows. The candidate should have experience developing highvisibility reports for large and diverse audiences and responding to ad hoc reporting requests with accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with IT and participate in the maintenance of data assets as needed.
This role requires strong attention to detail, technical acumen, and the ability to apply critical thinking skills.

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
