About This Position

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple CNC machines
to produce precision parts and components, with a focus on hard machining.
You will utilize your expertise in CAMtool and MasterCAM to ensure the highest quality and
efficiency in production, and you will be expected to work self-sufficiently with minimal supervision
while proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines for hard machining applications
• Program CNC machines using CAMtool and MasterCAM
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering and coworkers to optimize manufacturing processes
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and maintenance records
• Follow all safety requirements and company policies
Qualifications:
• Technical certification or degree preferred
• Minimum 3 year’s experience as a CNC machinist in hard machining
• Tool manufacturing and/or toolmaking experience is an asset
• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation using CAMtool and MasterCAM
• Strong knowledge of hard-machining techniques, strategies, and processes
• Ability to set up multiple workpieces simultaneously to support unattended machining
• Excellent knowledge of metric and imperial measurement systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of
a team
