Medical Laboratory Technician at Ladgov Corporation – Okinawa

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Kadena , Okinawa 9040200 Japan

Duties:

• Login/order patient lab tests
• Issue collection kits
• Perform phlebotomy of patients
• Perform sample processing which includes:

1. Centrifugation.
2. Pouring off of samples into shipping tubes.
3. Plating microbiology samples.
4. Preparing sample shipments.

• Perform/review waived clinical laboratory testing in accordance with established operating instructions (OI), ensuring reporting of accurate results within established turnaround time.
• Manage administrative aspects of waived testing by ensuring compliance with routine quality control and preventative maintenance requirements.
• Maintain records of work accomplished, time expended, and prepare/review reports as required.
• Consult with other medical staff members to determine their requirements for effective patient care.

Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Phlebotomy Certification or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certificate through a nationally accredited agency.
• all employees performing services shall be proficient in understanding (reading, speaking, listening, and writing) English
