About This Position
Defining Wellness Centers is seeking a Compliance Manager for a full time position with our substance abuse treatment facility located in Brandon, MS campus and corporate footprint. This is an onsite position which may include some travel on occasion. The position is an M-F position, day hours with some potential for evening or weekend work on occasion. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing, business, management, health administration, or related degree. In addition, this position requires experience or education related to matters of compliance regarding Substance Abuse Treatment or Healthcare related field.
This position will work closely with the Executive Director of the facility and other leadership staff for company projects review of needs for regulatory compliance, and to develop processes/paths to meet those needs with systems and staff in the company.
The duties for the position include the following:
• Regulatory compliance for Federal/State laws, Department of Mental Health, and other accrediting agencies.
• Risk Management process engagement and communication of issues with leadership.
• Performance Improvement/Quality Assurance including staff training, identification of needs, project planning and implementation, and other PI activities as needed.
• Internal Audits of documentation of staff, clients’ records and companies processes.
• Development, Review, and Implementation of Policy and Procedures related to compliance, training, performance improvement, and risk management.
• Projects assigned by leadership.
