Printing & Packing Associate at Digital Room LLC – Arlington, Texas

We are actively hiring for the position of Printing & Packing Associate for our plant in Arlington, TX.

Shift: 2nd Shift 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Pay: $12.00 - $13.99

Production Worker

Duties and responsibilities

• Pack and seal printing products in the assign boxes according to the size and quantity.
• Use large format equipment to meet client product specifications.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Measure, weight, and count products and materials.
• Read shipping labels and ensure correct quantity/product packaged.
• Check orders on computers using the company’s database.
• Communicate with the management team to ensure all duties assigned are completed.
• Ensure that a clean and orderly work area is stocked with boxes and packing paper.
• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Perform scheduled maintenance.
• Communicate equipment and material problems with management and vendors in a timely manner.
• Perform scheduled color and image quality tests and notify manager upon found issues.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment and safe use of them. (i.e., pallet jack)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to use a computer.
  

Physical requirements

• Standing/Walking (at least 75% of shift)
• Lifting/Pushing/Pulling up to 50 lb. (at least 50% of shift)
• Bending/Twisting/Squatting (at least 50% of shift)
