Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Serve as initial point of contact for visitors, staff, and clients to facility
- Check in visitors, clients, and staff
- Describe NBH program/services to visitors, staff, and clients
- Office coordination - supply ordering, mail distribution, and other general office operations
- Lead employee functions and committee to support staff engagement
- Coordination of NBH swag for outreach & staff events
- Role model behavior which is consistent with and supportive of people in recovery from substance use disorder. Such behavior will include upholding ethical standards of the program and reliable attendance.
- Thought leader regarding overall office operations
- Participate in weekly staffing meetings and supervision meetings as needed
- Complete projects assigned by supervisor to support supervisor and other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior office experience required and understanding of substance use disorder treatment strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and detail orientation are essential.
- Experience with Excel and clinical databases.
- Ability to effectively handle detail-oriented tasks; able to prioritize multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to diverse staff and client population and to manage personnel, agency, and client information in a confidential and professional manner.
- Reliable, organized, professional, and highly dependable – can be counted on to work independently.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- CPR/First Aid Certification or attain within 30 days of employment
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of 1 year free from substance abuse;
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge in MS Office, and Google Suite programs
- Skilled in the process of identifying and assessing a wide range of client needs;
- Knowledgeable about local community resources and how to use those resources for the benefit of the client (preferred)
- Familiar with Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) Model (preferred)
- Familiar with Procentive, Electronic Health Record System (preferred)
