Civil Design Engineer - Land Development Are you an experienced site development engineer looking to launch your career to the next level? Bohler is looking for a motivated Civil Design Engineer with two (2) or more years of experience to join our Harrisburg, PA team. What You’ll Do
- Navigate zoning laws and land development ordinances to maximize development potential.
- Conduct site investigations and due diligence to guide design decisions.
- Create site layouts and concept plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Design grading plans, stormwater management, and utility systems (water, sewer).
- Ensure designs are ADA-compliant.
- Develop erosion and sediment control plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Communicate with clients and agencies to secure approvals and move projects forward.
Qualifications Key to Your Success
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Two (2) or more years of experience working on land development projects.
- EIT or PE license preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Understanding of zoning regulations and the permitting process.
- A passion for tackling complex engineering challenges.
