Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full time Flex Hose Technician II in San Diego, CA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Journeyman-level support to accomplish identification, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, testing, and labeling of shipboard flexible hose assemblies in accordance with applicable technical guidance.
Flex hose technician shall utilize the following shop equipment to accomplish flex hose manufacture and testing requirements:
Hydrostatic test stand
Precision measuring equipment
Chop saw
Bench grinder
Crimping machine
Band-It machine
Three/four segment assembly machine
Large hose assembly “dogleg” machines
Small hose assembly machines
Hose cutoff machine
Embossing machine
Parts sandblasting machine
portable electrical, pneumatic, and hand tools
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience in general mechanical maintenance and repair
Knowledgeable in the use of basic hand tools
Ability to obtain and maintain a DBIDS or CAC as required
Completion of PQS 301 Craftsman Qualification withing 90 days
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $23.00 -$26.07 hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
ADA Notations:
Work is accomplished on equipment requiring the need to stand, stoop, bend, kneel climb and lift.
Requires walking, standing, climbing stairs, visual skills, manual dexterity.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Noisy conditions & Industrial work environment.
Requires working in the presence of occasional noise.
