Outpatient Care Technician #8079 at St. Clair Hospital – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary

In accordance with established standards, provides assistance to patients in preparation for medical imaging procedures, as well as basic care tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Must possess at least one of the following:
   1. Completion of a health related educational program focused on the delivery of direct patient care.
   2. One year of experience in a clinical setting delivering direct patient care.
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

1. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
2. Previous experience performing EKGs and/or intravenous insertion.
