Beautician at Bethany Village – Horseheads, New York

Provide beauty and grooming services to 60-70 residents in the nursing home. This role offers an opportunity to enhance the well-being and confidence of our residents through personalized beauty treatments in a caring and respectful environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide beauty treatments such as haircuts and styling
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, respecting their dignity and privacy
• Keep accurate records of services provided and any special requirements
• Collaborate with nursing staff

Skills and Qualifications:

• Independent contractor position (not a paid staff role)
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards elderly residents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification or license in cosmetology or related field preferred
• Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety

• Must hold a valid beautician license
• Must carry personal liability insurance
