About This Position
JOB SUMMARY
Performs all required procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and operates specialized equipment including, but not limited to, the computer system, hemodynamic monitoring, and have working knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab. Trains staff technologists and students.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Allied Health Degree
Minimum Work Experience
Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications
BLS (within 30 days of hire)
ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
NIH Stroke Scale (within 90 days of hire)
RCIS, or RCES, or CVT (Cardiovascular Tech), or ARRT w/ 1 year cath lab experience
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Answer telephones
Compile and analyze reports
Coordinate schedules
Input data into computer programs
Inventory and order supplies and equipment
Generate reports
Thorough knowledge of Cath Lab procedures
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
