Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Tractor Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a tractor to cut and maintain large areas of land on a consistent weekday schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and has hands-on experience with tractor operation and routine tractor maintenance.

Pay Range: $18-26/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate a tractor to mow and maintain large fields and grounds
• Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance (e.g., oil changes, blade sharpening, greasing)
• Identify and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is used properly
• Keep daily logs of work completed and maintenance performed
• Collaborate with the team to prioritize work areas

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
• Proven experience operating tractors and mowing equipment
• Strong knowledge of tractor controls/operation and routine tractor maintenance
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and good time management
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude or small engine repair experience
• Familiarity with safety and environmental guidelines related to groundskeeping
