REGISTERED NURSE at Morris Hospital – MORRIS, Illinois

• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
  • The Same Day Surgery Nurse under the supervision of the Same Day Surgery Manager is responsible for the nursing care of Same Day Surgery patients assigned to him/her, and to direct others in patient care.
• QUALIFICATIONS
  • Professional/Educational
    • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Current Illinois license with biennial renewal.
    • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
    • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
    • BSN preferred.
    • DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
  • Personal
    • Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy and honesty.
    • Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
    • Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
    • Is able to work flexible hours as the schedule varies.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
