POSITION SUMMARY
Software Developers at RAS LaVrar work within an agile environment to streamline and standardize the firm’s processes by developing innovative technical solutions to traditionally manual legal processes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The following responsibilities are central to the role:
- Process improvement
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify requirements, and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Engage in architecture-level thinking to advise in the design of firm processes and inform stakeholders on technical possibilities, limitations, and implementation.
- Build and maintain integrations (APIs, file-based, database, and vendor connections) needed to support firm workflows end-to-end.
- Software development & code quality
- Write, maintain, and improve codebases for applications, automations, and internal services using best practices (version control, code review, modularity).
- Develop and maintain automated unit tests.
- Implement monitoring/logging and operational safeguards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- UI design & front-end interfaces
- Data engineering – build & maintain data pipelines, construct SQL queries, etc.

Educational/Experience Qualification:

- Individuals who excel in this role typically have academic backgrounds in computer science and/or data analysis.
