We are currently seeking a Senior Designer to join our Process Design and Fabrication team. Candidate will work closely with Industrial Process team to develop 3D models and deliverables that drive our design-build and fabrication operations.

What You’ll Do

As Senior Process Designer, you will play a vital role in turning engineered designs into accurate, fabrication ready models for our projects.

• • Lead creation and maintenance of Industrial Process piping and equipment models either concept or contract documents.
  • Identifying and reporting conflicts, constructability issues, and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Work with Process Design and Fabrication Manager to establish and enforce modeling standards.
  • Using tools like AutoCAD MEP, Bluebeam, and clash detection software to verify model accuracy.
  • Generate quantity take-off (QTO) reports and prepare model-based deliverables.
  • Coordinating with the estimating team and field personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Incorporating contract changes, maintaining standards, and ensuring all models reflect real-world construction sequences.
  • Participating in project handoff meetings and publishing models for proposals and internal use.

This position will keep you engaged in both technical modeling and practical construction support, ensuring no two days are alike.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• • 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or 2-year degree with relevant experience (required).

Experience:

• • 7 - 10 years of Process Modeling experience
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD MEP (preferred).
  • Strong computer proficiency in the Windows environment (required).

Skills:

• • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn new technology.

Additional Details

• • Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional project site visits and minimal travel.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10 (required; provided by Wayne Brothers), valid driver’s license (preferred).
  • Physical Demands: Standard office tasks (sitting, reading, typing).
