BMS Bariatric Clinical Coordinator at Butler Health System – Butler, Pennsylvania

Under the direction of the surgeon, plan, organize, and facilitate pre and post-surgical care for bariatric patients to include coordination of routine bariatric maintenance post surgery. Works in conjunction with the bariatric team to achieve surgical accreditation. Responsible to plan, organize and facilitate monthly bariatric seminars and support groups.

Education

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of Credentialed Medical Assistant status or completion of a Certificate/Diploma/Degree Program in a Healthcare related field
Preferred: N/A

Registration/Certification/Licensure:
Current Credential/Certification/Licensure appropriate to education and Act 33/73 clearances

Experience

Minimum: One year experience in a physician office or within a healthcare related field
Preferred: One year experience in bariatric care coordination.
