We’re hiring a reliable and dedicated overnight security officer for a fixed site in Corning, CA. This is a standing position with scheduled foot patrols of the property every 45 minutes throughout the shift.

What You’ll Do
• Monitor and maintain security presence at a designated standing post
• Conduct foot patrols of the site approximately every 45 minutes
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety issues, or unauthorized access
• Maintain accurate and professional digital logs and incident reports
• Follow all post orders, site-specific procedures, and emergency protocols
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatch as needed
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and presence throughout the shift

Required Qualifications
• Valid California Guard Card
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years or older
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to document activities and incidents clearly and professionally

Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications in Baton, OC Spray, Taser, or Firearm (optional but valued)
• Prior experience in standing security or overnight roles
• Familiarity with digital reporting platforms such as THERMS, Trackforce, etc.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Background in military, law enforcement, or security training

Initial Training (Before Applying)

☐ Power to Arrest (3–4 hours, can be online)
☐ Appropriate Use of Force (5 hours, must be in-person)

☐ Pay BSIS application fee (~$50–$60)
First-Year Required Training (Post-Approval)
☐ Complete additional 32 hours of BSIS-mandated training:

☐ Public Relations (Community & Customer) – 4 hrs
☐ Observation & Documentation – 4 hrs
☐ Communication and Its Significance – 4 hrs
☐ Liability / Legal Aspects – 4 hrs
☐ 16 hours within 6 months:
