About This Position
The Wide Format Specialist - Apparel Decorating is responsible for revenue growth attainment for assigned targets, territory, and National Accounts within the Millcraft Inkjet Technology Solutions Segment primarily focused on the Apparel Decorating Market which includes Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. As a Wide Format Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in driving new business development, managing existing accounts, and building long-term, profitable client relationships through client interactions while meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Wide Format Specialist is a sales & subject matter expert responsible for providing technical wide format sales and pre-sales expertise that results in successfully selling and integrating Ink Jet Technology Solutions into any qualified customer environment.
The Wide Format Specialist is focused to environments including but not limited to Commercial Printers, Print for Pay providers, Sign Shops, Corporate Central Reproduction Departments, In-Plants, Marketing Departments, Engineering Departments and Screen Print Decorators.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls/emails
• Research prospects, identify key decision makers and grow revenue base
• Build and manage an active pipeline of opportunities within assigned targets and markets
• Identify development potential in accounts by studying current business metrics, interviewing key customer contacts, uncovering and presenting additional new business opportunities
• Initiate and follow sales process by understanding client's business drivers, building relationships; qualifying potential opportunities; presenting, and closing business
• Provide workflow and application-based training as part of the sales process and customer retention
• Successfully manage client relations, providing excellent customer satisfaction and strategically upsell/cross-sell
• Learn and develop industry knowledge
• Create and maintain a Social Media presence targeting the Apparel and Textile market
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; training sessions; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in industry events and organizations
• Understand performance metrics and their impact on customer satisfaction and revenue performance
• Interact with sales leadership and operational leaders to develop sales strategies that win new business
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires experience and understanding in technologies surrounding networks, RIPS, color profiling and media related to the graphic arts wide format market
• Detailed understanding through formal education, certification, or hands on experience in various printing processes such as Offset Lithography, Flexographic Printing, Screen Printing and Wide Format
• Advanced proficiency with Graphic Arts software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat
• Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience in Digital, Screen, Wide Format or Commercial Printing Equipment
• Independent, self-motivated sales professional that can work independently. Excellent cold-calling, objection-handling and closing skills
• Proficient use of sales tools and business intelligence tools (HubSpot, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, etc.)
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Highly articulate communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate on all levels in various formats.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Intermediate to strong math aptitude. Specifically, the ability to create, maintain and adjust to projections, pricing, budgets, forecasts, and others.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to analyze, compare, contrast and synthesize information is important. Ability to process data and information in an organized manner and generate ideas and recommendations is essential.

Frequent travel is required

Within the office, floors are both carpeted and tiled. Occasional interaction may occur within the Operations environment wherein noise is moderate to loud and floors are generally concrete. Temperature is moderated by heat in the winter and air conditioning or air circulation methods in the summer.
