Quality Test Technician I at Kratos Industries LLC – Arvada, Colorado

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Test Technician is to:

• Support daily production operations

• Test switchboard and control panel hardware with limited supervision

• Conduct point-to-point testing of electrical networks illustrated on schematics and technical drawings

• Conduct Hi-Pot, RELT, Continuity, and other tests in an efficient manner to meet production schedules

• Perform quality inspection duties as required

• Frequent interaction with production, test, quality and engineering personnel

• Provide input for the development and improvement of work instructions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (min requirement)

• Associates degree or 2-year Certificate in a technical discipline (preferred)

• Electrical Journeyman License in the State of Colorado (highly desirable)

• 2 years in a production environment (min requirement)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Demonstrated work experience in a fast-paced production environment

• Direct work experience in an ISO 9001 work environment (preferred)

• Proficient use of hand tools and test equipment is a must

• Must be able to interpret detailed technical schematics and drawings

• Must be computer literate (e.g. basic data entry programs and time-entry applications)

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

• Must possess effective and professional communication skills

ADDITIONAL NOTES

This position is a direct report to the Production Test Lead.

Limited travel (in state, out of state) may be required on occasion.

A written and / or practical skills assessment may be required of the successful applicant.
